My company ThingM makes the popular blink(1) USB RGB LED notification light. We are looking for a contract Qt developer to help us lead the creation of the new controller application for blink(1).
The application being created is primarily a GUI wrapper around a simple hardware library and communication to an XML web service that connects to IFTTT.com.
The application will be targeted at Mac OS X & Windows, with Linux as a possible option. The final application will be released as open source.
The developer should be familiar with modern Net XML API protocols, similar to those used by Twitter or Flickr. We would like the developer to have experience with Mac & Windows UI guidelines and have some experience with either Mac or Windows internals for accessing system information like CPU use, disk activity, etc.
